its sad srivedi was away from movies.it was huge loss to Indian cinema.

but glad that she made a comeback with this movie & what a comeback.she couldn't have selected a better movie for her return to films.

This year Indian Cinema is producing one gem after another first paan singh tomar then kahani vicky donor gangs of wasseypur barfi oh my GOD now add english vinglish to the list.

It was pleasure watching srivedi portraying shashi.we forget srivedi & take her character back home.
But also the star of the show is director gauri shinde she made an excellent award winning movie & made a fantastic debut as a director.

Very nicely she integreted beautiful songs in the movie.

She is the wife of producer R Balki who made immensely lovable & simple Cheeni Kum & Paa.
& what to say about BIG B very special special apperance.he is magical in his scenes with sridevi in her flight to new york as her co passenger.

All the actors were perfect in their parts.
Specialy the young little son of srivedi he wins ur heart.

All the students with sridevi in her english class will become memorable one pakistani one spanish nanny one french actor who falls in love with sridevi one south Indian one chinese girl & their gay teacher.
I predicted this movie to become hit but theatre was empty.

I hope this movie becomes hit with word of mouth not for my sake but for sridevi.
so that she gets more films & we can see her again & again.

She is also no. 4 like me.
I highly recommend this movie to all of u.

after watching this film it looks like being a heroine is shrap curse.
few scenes r great.but very few.one when kareena pours red wine on hero's wife face in a party.
or when divya dutta says kisi ne sahi kaha tha ek insan hote hain aur ek actors.
my favorite performance of the film was of divya dutta.she looked so real.

kareena was good.inconsistent performance like her character.she was great in scenes where her naked truth came out & she was fake in some scenes.
wish aishwarya did this role.it would be more interesting.
rampal was good.it was pleasure watching helen ji.
randeep hooda was incrediblle in one scene when he breaks his relationship with kareena.his outburst was brilliant.
ranvir shorey as bengali art house director leaves a mark.
shahana goswami made her presence felt.
in last scene kareena folds her hands & pleads to media.this movies showed quality of life of heroine is poor.
ending was abrupt.kareena was shown finding happiness by becoming common man.
also movie only focussed on downfall of mahi arora.they could have shown her road to stardom also.so the impact would be more.
they tried to pack too many episodes too many scandals in one film & few were unwanted.
its a dark film which shows bitter truth of film industry.
wish screenplay was consistent & movie was as attention grabbing as Fashion.
